First I must say that this last week has truly done wonders on my heart. I placed unnecessary burdens on my mind and the weight of it all was detrimental to my walk with the Lord as well as my personal relationships. I thought I could handle it all; I thought I was strong enough to know things I should not know. Curiosity is a deadly thing, it truly is. I looked for the pain and the hurt to bring myself down. I lost sight of the way that Jesus sees me. I am beautiful in his eyes. I am one of a kind and important to Him, and he certainly reminded me of that. He sought me out when I was so lost and lonely and called me back to Him, filling me with the power of grace. I have such a rebellious and disobedient heart, however His love for me is never ending and His grace is sufficient to deliver my heart of it’s weaknesses.

Now, moving on:
Today (Feb 13th) is known as Galentine’s Day! If any of you are familiar with Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation you know just what I am talking about! Today I had the incredible opportunity to have breakfast/brunch with some of my favorite girls! It was wonderful to be surrounded by such amazing God fearing women. They are all an encouragement to me and are a blessing in my life. They are also some of the most creative and crafty-est people I know, the “galentine’s” I got made my heart grow for them so much! Make sure you take some time to thank and love the amazing and inspiring women in your life!

Tomorrow (Feb 14th) I will be able to spend the day with an amazing man. This will be the first year that I can actually spend Valentine’s day with someone and not be interrupted with work or school so we plan on taking full advantage of our day together! In the short time I have known Anthony Slusher he has been able to see many different sides of me and yet he continues to care for and appreciate me with all his heart. His presence in my life is all because of God and even though we have our struggles (all couples do) I know that we can continue to hold Jesus #1 in our hearts and allow Him to be the rock that we build the foundation of this relationship upon.
I am so thankful for the blessings I have. I am incredibly lucky in love.
